Kristin Feuer: Pastry Chef, Owner
We come to the pastry kitchen with experience in both baking and fine dining. Our vision is a synthesis of delighting in American classics and a modern irreverence. We are driven by a love of the process, which is why Bakelab makes everything in house, including caramels, graham crackers, and marshmallow.

Bakelab is a retail and wholesale bakeshop; we work out of a licensed commercial kitchen and do not have a storefront. We offer a wide array of services for our Los Angeles area retail customers, and we are happy to offer both pick-up at our new LEED-certified kitchen and local delivery. Additionally, we have an online shop with a variety of sweets available for shipping nationwide anytime. We currently accept wholesale accounts in the Los Angeles area only.

Local delivery Items may be picked up from our kitchen, or delivered in the Los Angeles area. Delivery fees will apply based on distance from our kitchen (near LAX).

Advance notice We ask for 24 hours notice for orders for cookies and bars, 48 hours notice for cupcakes, and 72 hours notice for cakes. We try to accommodate last minute orders but it is not always possible.

Externs We are happy to accept unpaid externs looking for a short-term learning experience while in school or after graduation. Please contact us with your resume pasted into the body of the email.
